Writing for E. Media
This class covered writing styles such as broadcast news, radio advertising, and the specifics behind each style. Here are examples of work from these assignments.
Networked Audiences
This class focused on the future of technology, and throughout the semester the class wrote papers on the different aspects that affect technology, such as consumers and funding. At the end of the semester the class was split into groups and each made projections on the growth (or decline) of different technologies for the next five years.
Designing Solutions
This class is entirely based on fixing a given problem and giving the client a solution that we believe will help them in their endeavors. My group worked on redesigning the Broadcasting & Digital Media part of the Cedarville University website, as well as exploring social media options.
Freelance
I have multiple clients that I work for, and write about many subjects. Some work includes researching and following a specific set of guidelines, and other clients give me a wide range of projects to work on. This can include social media, newsletters, and online advertising.
Media Ethics
This class covered the ethical issues each student would face in their respective fields, but also the background of different types of ethics and the backgrounds of each. This example is from my team's final report. While I proofread and edited the whole report, this is only the section I wrote and researched myself. It covered the case study for our topic, which was vulgarity in broadcasting and music production.
